Death Can Wait is a design that is meant to represent overcoming depression and suicidal thoughts. It might seem a bit morbid to some, but it’s meant to be a positive message – it’s a reminder that no matter how dark things get, our time on this planet isn’t over yet and that ‘death can wait’. We just need to do our best to live our life. If you have ever struggled with depression, you might know that even something as simple as this can be extremely difficult.
The design is available on t-shirts (off-white or red) and on tote bags. All proceeds raised from the sale of these items (minus production and shipping costs) will be donated to Crisis Services Canada, an organization made up of non-profit distress and crisis service centres from across Canada. They also launched the Canada Suicide Prevention Service (CSPS) in 2017.
Many people seem to be struggling with their mental health since the beginning of this pandemic. So I thought an organization like the CSC would greatly benefit from a donation.
Pre-order is available from April 26th – May 10th (2021). Orders placed during the pre-order period will be shipped out a few weeks after it has ended. A small quantity will also be available in the shop after the pre-order ends.
