The iconic Super Sexe neon sign was destroyed in a fire on October 31 2021. There were many opportunities to preserve the sign before this, but now it is too late.

Some people might not think something like this is ‘worthy’ of preservation. But there is a lot of history and strong resilient women behind these places, and I think that is worth preserving.
The design was originally made into linocut prints (limited to 10 copies), and later it was turned into a t-shirt design for Art Gang’s ‘Royaltees’ series. Available on their website, Super Sexe was available for pre-order for only one week.
